The Bible in Africa

On the basis of a study of the last five or six volumes of nine African theological magazines, in both English an French, an Roman Catholic as well as Protestant and Anglican, the author attempts to assess the influence of the Bible in contemporary Africa. Sections: Introduction -The Bible the book of Africa? – The Bible in African theology: written and oral theology – Towards an African interpretation of the Bible?
