Zambia-British South Africa Royalties Dispute

Northern Rhodesia wants the mineral rights of the British South Africa Company, so that it can benefit from royalty revenue and use this towards developing the future Republic of Zambia. A solution is wanted before the independence on October 24. 1964. The article gives the historical background and the course of the royalties dispute with the standpoint of both parties.
