Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro Review

The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is available in four versions. The two cheaper options come in a 46 mm titanium case, while the more expensive ones come in a 43 mm ceramic case. The most expensive version of the watch came to our review – Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro in a ceramic case, with a ceramic bracelet. The model is clearly feminine, but that didn't stop us from enjoying it for a few days.

Presentation

Display

Huawei notes that its hardness is 9 on the Moss scale. To clarify, the maximum score is 10 and that's for diamonds only. In general, such glass should not be scratched. We didn't really see even a small scratch on it. By the way, the same glass is used in the touch part of the ceramic back panel. Again, everything is in abundance. But the controls remain the same. However, it is difficult to come up with something new here. There is a ring button to launch the program menu and scroll through the lists, as well as an oblong physical button to call up the workout list.

• IP68 water-resistant. You can dive up to 30 meters into the water if you can do it. However, it is not recommended to use the watch in the shower due to the strong water flow. In general, the Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is an example of what a classic smartwatch can look like. Excellent materials, round display, familiar two-button control. Everything is done so as not to scare off lovers of familiar watches. A gold bezel shouldn't be confusing. In the end, you can choose the silver option. In addition, there are brutal versions of titanium watches, aimed exclusively at the male audience. But I really liked ceramics as a material for the case and bracelet.

Screen

The display is smaller than the Watch GT 3 we reviewed earlier, at 1.43 inches. And here – 1.32. The matrix is AMOLED, the clarity is high, there is no reason to complain about the picture quality. The only thing we did not find is the Always-On mode. Maybe, it was abandoned to preserve the autonomy of the device. Many dials, there are several specially designed for this model.

Functionality

The watch can measure the temperature, but not of the body, but of the skin. The normal figure is from 32 to 34 degrees, plus or minus a couple of degrees in both directions. Perhaps if you are weak from fever, then by the clock it can be determined. By the way, they say that the Apple Watch Series 8 will also work in this way. So, the Americans have overtaken with this function. You can make and receive calls using your watch. This requires a smartphone connection. In an apartment where the TV is on, you can hear well, but in crowded places the volume may not be enough.

Autonomy

Manufacturer's statement The Watch GT 3 Pro battery lasts for four days of heavy use and a week of normal use. We turned on all the sensors in automatic mode and did not remove the watch for days. At the same time, they did not dive, did not run, did not jump. In fact, the watch was used for notifications and measuring various health parameters. In this mode, the battery loses 15% of its charge per day. That is, it should be enough for about a week. The included charger is good. It's big, no pads, very similar to the one found in the Apple Watch. Alternatively, you can try reverse charging your watch if your phone supports it.
